Black Diamond designed the Distance 1500 head torch for endurance challenges. Bright, reliable illumination, a comfortable and stable headband, and an interchangeable battery pack deliver the performance needed on long-distance routes.
Integrated PowerTap Technology boosts the head torch to its highest setting of 1500 lumens and 117 meters. This allows you to quickly assess upcoming terrain and spot trail markers. The torch will automatically dim after 10 seconds for optimal battery savings. A multifaceted lens design ensures a smooth and stable beam. Along with the front white light, there is a red strobe light on the rear battery pack. The interchangeable battery pack lasts 8 hours at 300 lumens and can be swapped one-handed for easy changing when you're on the go.
The Distance 1500 has a Comfort Cradle headband, which contours to your head to minimise bounce. There is also a removable top strap for extra security on uneven terrain. An all-weather performer, the head torch has an IP67 rating, making it fully dust-tight and protected against water submersion down to 1 metre for 30 minutes.

Free delivery is available for all orders sent with economy delivery.
In the UK we use DPD Local and Royal Mail to deliver our parcels. If your parcel is small and of low value, we will send it via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Other items will be sent via DPD Local. Physical Gift Vouchers are sent with Royal Mail 1st Class. We will send you an email once we have packed your order. Further tracking information will be sent directly from the courier.

Free Click and Collect In-store
Free Click and Collect is available for all products on the website. At checkout, select Click and Collect as your delivery option. Then, choose the most convenient store to collect your order from.
You will receive an email to confirm your order. You will get a second message when your order is ready to collect.
Items in stock at your chosen store should be available within 24 hours of ordering. If we need to take items from another store or warehouse, it will take between 2 and 5 working days before they are available to collect.
International Delivery
Delivery timeframes for non-UK delivery vary depending on location, and take between 2 – 9 days. Similarly, non UK delivery charges start at £13 for Europe and go up to £30 for Southern hemisphere regions. For more detailed information please visit our international delivery page. Please note that the prices we quote on this page are for standard deliveries, i.e. parcel weight and size restrictions apply. For non-standard deliveries, e.g. skis and snowboards, our customer service team will contact you once you’ve placed the order to discuss any additional payment required.
Returns
Returns must be made within 30 days of receiving the goods, and we will issue a refund within 7 working days of the goods being sent back to us. When you receive your order there will be a returns form inside, so please complete this and send back with the returned goods. Return postage must be paid by the customer for unwanted goods, and we offer a variety of ways for you to make a return e.g. taking to one of our stores free of charge, or Post Office drop off for £2.50.
