About the brand

Draw your line

Oakley was founded by Jim Jannard in Southern California in 1975, starting with the Oakley Grip for motocross bikes. By 1983, the company introduced its first snow goggles, the O Frame, to the market. What began as a small operation selling motorcycle parts out of a car trunk has grown into a leading brand in sports performance eyewear. Oakley remains committed to innovation and pushing boundaries.
