Shunt Back Up Device

Petzl's Shunt offers climbers a mechanical alternative to friction hitch abseil back-ups below the belay device. It locks onto the rope instantly when released and allows unhindered descents. You can use the Shunt with single ropes between 10 to 11mm and half ropes between 8 to 11 mm.
