Wave Closure M-LITE
Guarantees an accurate wrapping of the foot on four points between the malleolus and the forefoot that equalizes the pressure on the foot. Three adjustment points are available for this system: the 3-tooth rack on the lever, micro-regulator on the toe and a second position for the lever on the strap.
SPEED LOCK MLT
Made of aluminium, the SPEED LOCK MLT is equipped with Friction Free technology that allows maximum agility and freedom of movement when walking. The locking on the shell is simple and effective, the steel harpoon and the essential design minimize the possibility of snow or ice accumulation, ensuring easy closure even in extreme conditions. Cayman LT Sole
The new Cayman LT sole from SCARPA and Vibram® has an ergonomic design that guarantees optimal grip when walking in any type of terrain. Made of Durastep compound, it is equipped with Traction Lug technology which increases traction by up to 25% while maintaining stability.
Pebax® Rnew
Premium bio-based thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) made from the oil of the castor plant. They offer a unique combination of high performance properties: sustained flexibility at low temperature, high cold impact resistance, and outstanding energy return. These elastomers are typically 20% lighter than commonly used materials. In comparison to the Pebax® material, Pebax® Rnew elastomers combines a bio-sourced polyamide 11 rigid block (PA11) with a hydrophobic polyether soft chain. Bridging the gap between thermoplastics and rubbers, Pebax® Rnew materials offer a sustainable solution for a wide range of high performance applications in sport markets.
Grilamid BIO®
This polymer with a high BIO content guarantees a significant reduction in CO2 emissions while maintaining its main properties of stiffness and elasticity and high impact unaltered. In fact, it derives from the synthesis of castor oil. The castor plant does not compete with food crops for the land and is grown in semi-arid areas (India, China, Brazil). It is, therefore, an excellent alternative to polymers derived from fossil sources and is completely recyclable.
Carbon Core
The carbon inserts on the shell and cuff promote high torsional and longitudinal stiffness ensuring precision and control.
