Our clothing staff play a crucial role in enabling our customers to get the best kit for their current outdoor and snowsports adventures and get inspired for many future adventures to come.

Our stores are staffed by product experts who can guide customers through our collection of the greatest outdoor and snow sports brands available.

Our supervisors are pivotal in our shops, helping drive and motivate the team to ensure overall success. This is a great first step on your journey to becoming a retail leader of the future.

What you’ll be doing:

- Representing Ellis Brigham and helping to inspire customers to enjoy the outdoors in the best kit for their adventures

- Help create an open and friendly environment in our stores where everyone feels welcome

- Working alongside the rest of the store team and coaching them to deliver outstanding customer service and reach the store targets

- Help customers select the best products for their needs – from walking their dog in the UK to climbing the world’s biggest mountains

- Taking a lead role in the store in the absence of other Managers, directing and supporting your colleagues and taking responsibility for the shop operations

- You will also be leading the clothing department, taking responsibility for the training and performance of the team

- Continually developing your knowledge and expertise around our products and sports to give you the best skills possible

- Work alongside your colleague to maintain the store to the highest standards, ensuring it is easy and enjoyable for customers to shop

- Carryout store operations with care and accuracy to make sure we have seamless operations instore

Who you are:

- You love the outdoors and snowsports

- You have great communication skills and can easily interact with a wide and diverse mix of customers

- You may have worked in previous customer-facing roles or can demonstrate your ability to engage with customers

- You can demonstrate leadership skills and a willingness to take responsibility

- You are honest, hardworking and take pride in what you do

- You are willing to learn and actively look for development

- You are comfortable working in a team and taking direction, but also happy to make your own decisions and lead others

- You’ll enjoy outdoor sports and snowsports or be keen to immerse yourself in the outdoor and snowsports world

- You want to work in an environment where every day can be different and that hard work and good fun go hand in hand
