Ski repairs

Our ski workshop technicians are here to repair dings, de-lamination and other damages to get ‌your skis ready for your next trip. ‌

Base & edge damage - from £30

When the existing edge has been bent ‌beyond repair and needs cutting out and ‌replacing with a new section of edge.‌ A new edge requires a base patch to ‌hold it in place.‌

Edge ding - from £20

If the ski edge has been bent in from a ‌heavy impact and pushed the ski base ‌up, forming a bubble. We will straighten ‌the edge, return the base to its normal ‌level and then glue and clamp ‌everything back together.‌

Base patch - from £20 each

If a large piece of the base has been ‌damaged, a patch will be required to ‌cover the damaged area. A new piece ‌of base material is cut out and glued in ‌place before being ground flush with ‌the rest of the snowboard.‌

De-lam - from £15

The edge has come away from the other ‌layers of the ski. We will glue and clamp ‌the edge back to the ski and ensure ‌it is completely watertight.‌

Top sheet damage - from £15

The top layer of the ski is fragile and can ‌easily get chipped and damaged. We use ‌epoxy resin to make the ski watertight ‌again and stop water from damaging the ‌wood core.‌

Sidewall damage - from £15

A heavy impact to the sidewall of the ski ‌can lead to a loose edge or water ‌damage if not resolved. Our skilled ‌technicians will rebuild your sidewall ‌safeguarding your edges and core.‌

Ski binding mounting

All our flat skis and integrated binding systems are fitted by our trained ski technicians who only use official ski manufacturer jigs for accurate and sound mounts. ‌

‌The release system (often referred to as your DIN setting) is set to your specifications - establishing a safe ejection from the bindings when needed.

In addition to mounting bindings our technicians can adjust the position of your existing bindings* according to the type of skiing you are planning.

‌For example, if you are aiming to progress your tricks in the park, moving the binding to the centre of the ski will aid riding switch.

If you are looking to ski more powder this winter moving your bindings towards the tail of the ski will shift your weight backwards, providing you with more lift.

‌*Please bear in mind we have to make sure new holes have enough clearance from old holes so sometimes it isn’t possible to re-mount exactly in the preferred position.
